    • 3. Anarchy is not the answer when our values are not respected (Matthew 22:15-22).
    • 4. God places rulers for good (Romans 13:1-7).
    • 5. We are to pray for rulers (1 Timothy 2:2).
    • 6. We, as citizens, must take on responsibilies as Christians.
    • 7. Dictatorships require complete obedience unless they violate the Word.
  • I. OUR DUTY IN DEMOCRACY OR REPUBLIC
    • A. For People, by People
      • 1. Must ask what individual responsibility is
      • 2. Cooperation!
        • a. Must share in ruling
        • b. Must let voice be heard, if possible
    • B. Greater Responsibility than Under Dictatorship
    • C. Some Things Christians Cannot Agree to Participate In
      • 1. That which goes against God
      • 2. That which goes against Constitution
      • 3. That which goes against Bill of Rights
        • a. These may change by amendments
        • b. When laws change, we obey, if possible
        • c. Even with wicked rulers (Acts 25:11)
