  • I. What Is Discouragement?
    • A. Not having enough confidence
      • 1. Not sure of relationship with God. Lack of faith, which equals Lack of Love. (1 John 4:17-19)
    • B. Discouragement involves failure to adequately deal with God's mercy and grace

    • II. What Is Wrong with Pride?
      • A. Opposite of Discouragement
        • 1. Too much confidence in self
